Our client requires a Site Manager for a project in Montrose for the construction of a modular building.
The project involves the construction of offices, welfare facilities and meeting rooms.
The Site Manger will be responsible for managing:
- Installers
- Sub contractors
- Health and Safety
- RAMS
Drawings will be provided and the Site Manager will have responsibility for the site providing weekly updates to the Project Manager.
To be successful in this role you will have a wealth of proven experience as a site manager consistently achieving project goals. Extensive experience managing a variety of construction operations. You will ensure successful management of the designated site activities to ensure programme, cost, quality and safety objectives are achieved.
Role Responsibilities
*Support the pre-construction team in developing site logistics and site access strategies
*Plan, organise and maintain appropriate site welfare requirements & site logistics
*Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management completing all necessary health & safety activities and implementing Safe Systems of Work
*Manage the site ensuring the work is completed safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality by effectively organising and managing the site activities.
*Manage the client expectations and adopt a professional and considerate approach to maintain good working relations.
*Lead and motivate the site team and the supply chain to deliver the project and ensure roles and responsibilities are clear.
*In depth knowledge of health & safety procedures & requirements

*A proven track record working as Principal Contractor.
*A proven track record of consistently achieving project goals.

*Strong Commercial awareness.

*Exceptional organisation and planning skills
