Job description

Civil Engineering Contractor having secured a major new project in Bristol are looking for an experienced Engineer for site setting out, engineering and supervision.

The work will involve overseeing reinforced concrete & shuttering works on large multi storey structure. The scheme will involve Jump Form Cores up to heights of 11 Floors with couplers, kwika strips and inbedded plates to each floor both internally and externally, therefore experience of R.C Jump Form or slip form construction methods on high rise buildings are essential. The successful candidate will have an engineering /technical background and be able to demonstrate having undertaken similar work.

Duties will involve managing specialist contractor teams, overcoming technical queries, dictating and monitoring health and safety procedures and ensuring quality & exemplary work practices are upheld to maintain the highest quality on site.

Start date will be between Weds 29th May and Monday 3rd June 2019 with expected duration being a minimum of 30 weeks.

The person will be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge, leading by example and able to work as a key member of the management team.

Daily rate will be highly competitive and in line with expectations. This is a chance to work with a highly desirable contractor. Successful integration will lead to opportunities for further contract extension.
