Job description

Our client is a well run and busy and well run contractor whom are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding commercial construction department.

This role would suit some body looking for a long term career opportunity and looking to make a day to day impact on the business they are working for.

You will ideally have strong construction experience of educational, commercial, residential and health projects.

Key responsibilities

Assisting Surveying Manager
Produce valuations and payment applications
It is essential to have the knowledge and confidence to be able to take site measurements, predominantly social housing, unsupervised. Surveying of properties and pricing.
Identify changes to works information
Costing variations
Understanding of quality control, material scheduling etc
Subcontract account management
Cost reporting
