Contracts Manager - Devon

A maintenance contractor based in Bristol is in need of an experienced Contracts Manager to join their maintenance team on a permanent basis to run a newly awarded contract in South Devon. The company in which we are assisting to recruit, offer repairs and maintenance as a service to affordable housing providers.

The new contract consists of repairs and maintenance with a bias toward day to day responsive maintenance being carried out in tenant's homes. The role will involve overseeing the contract, representing and working on behalf of the contractor with an emphasis of working in partnership with the Housing Association.

The works are self delivered, so experience of managing a direct labour force is essential, as well as a good local knowledge to be able to call up on sub contractors as a back up for specialist works.

Experience of managing tight time frames, SLAs, KPIs while being commercially aware is essential to be able to efficiently manage this project.
