Job description

Assistant Quantity Surveyor

To work within a highway maintenance environment within an NEC 3 Environment. Working to agreed schedules of rates and carrying out reverse auditing of completed repairs to achieve final account. Assisting the commercial team and also working at depot level to ensure compliance on some repairs programmes.

The role involves visiting some sites and depots so a UK Driving License is essential.

This roles does involve a fair amount of calculations so a good mathematical aptitude is essential.

Ideally someone who wants to follow a career path into the highways sector

Applicants must have at least one year experience within an NEC environment.

Initial Salary £23-£27 K but this will rise as more complex contracts and experience is gained.

There is a possibility of day release with this role.
